Yes, if you pay any out of pocket qualified education expenses including tuition, you can claim an education credit.
To enter the program, here are the steps (online):
- Sign into your account and select Take me to my return
- At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in 1098t and Enter (Upgrade might be prompted)
- Select Jump to form 1098T
- On screen, "Do you want to enter your higher education expenses?" answer Yes.
