You may want to go back through your entries in the education section of TurboTax to make sure there are no errors in entry that would stop you from getting the credit. Sometimes if your modified adjusted gross income is over a certain limit, this would also prohibit you from getting the credit. In order to review your information for accuracy in the education section of TurboTax (while your return is still in progress)
- Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
- In the search box (located in the upper right hand corner), type 1098-T
- Click the Jump to 1098-t link that appears in the search results.
- This will take you to your education credit entries. Review the area and correct as necessary.
