It sounds like you may need to review the answers to the education questions, including whether you finished your first 4 years.
But, try these steps to switch the credit as you can manually adjust it -
- Log into your account and click Take Me To My Return (you must click this or you will not get the correct link in your search)
- In the search box, the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner - search for "letme" (one word) - and then click the "jump to letme" section
- It will bring you to the screen "Education Credits and Deductions”
- Follow the prompts and the next screen will let you switch the selection.
