You could remove your Washington State Return and just Efile your Federal return. TurboTax prepares the WA return automatically if you live there, for those qualifying for the WFTC.
For TurboTax Online:
- Sign in and open your return.
- Select State Taxes from the left-hand menu.
- On the "Status of your state returns" screen, click the trash can icon next to the state you want to remove.
- Confirm the deletion by selecting Yes.
For TurboTax Desktop:
- Go to the File menu and select Remove State Return
