It doesn't ask because the school made a mistake by including Room and Board in box 1 (or, more likely, you are mistaken).
But, if that is correct, In
the 1098-T screen, click on the link "What if this is not what I paid the school" underneath box 1. You will then be able to enter
the actual amounts paid. That is. you need to manually subtract the R&B and enter just the tuition and fees.
