Hello All,
I was a full time international student in 2023, I got married in September to a US citizen and became a LPR. I was working as Teaching Assistant throughout 2023 and I was provided with a W-2 and 1042-S. This 1042-S is generated under a "Exempt under tax treaty" (the first 5000 is exempt from tax because of a treaty with Pakistan) for my salary as a teaching assistant. I am not sure where to add this 1042-S information.
