I helped my friend with Turbotax. His 1098-T box 5 exceeded his Box 1 amount substantially and it is all taxable. I entered the 1098-t correctly in Turbotax. But the income from that is not flowing through to his total income. Why not? Is there a place where I can enter that taxable income manually? Where, exactly?
