Thanks for your response, but...Actually, I am not. My kids are 25, 27, & 29, they are not dependents, and are no longer eligible to be dependents because I no longer support them, they work and support themselves... I just happen to do their returns for them. They just took a while to get their degrees. Turbo tax knows this, because I don't claim them as dependents and I answer "no" to the question that asks if they can be claimed as dependent on someone else's return. Turbo Tax asks if they received a 1098T and when I answer yes, it just skips to the books & supplies section. Every Time. And before you ask, NO they do not make too much money to qualify for the Education Credits. 

I have 40 years of accounting experience, and actually used to be an enrolled agent and prepare returns for a living. I do know what I am doing. Honest.  It is a glitch in some versions of the software.
