Please see the following instructions on how to edit the numbers of years the American Opportunity Credit has been claimed: 

1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
2. Click "Take Me To My Return"
3. Click on the Search box on the top and type “1098T”.   
4. Click on “Jump to 1098T” 
5. Click “Edit” next to the student’s name.
6. Scroll down to “Education Information” and click “Edit”
7. Answer questions until you get to “Did X Ever Receive the American Opportunity or Hope Credit?” and enter the number of years you claimed the credit.
