1. If the 1099-Q was used for qualified expenses, it is not entered, simply tucked into the tax folder of the person named on it.
IRS Pub 970 states: Generally, distributions are tax free if they aren't more than the beneficiary's AQEE for the year. Don't report tax-free distributions (including qualifying rollovers) on your tax return.
If the 1099-Q actually covers more than all of your qualified expenses, then it will need to be entered for taxation. See who enters it here.
2. The 1098-T is only entered if there are additional expenses beyond the 1099-Q. Since you are unable to claim your daughter, the 1098-T will go on her return.
