Are you returning to TurboTax to file your 2022 tax return?
If you entered a W-2 for XYX Company in your 2021 tax return, an empty W-2 for XYZ Company may be found in your 2022 tax return as a convenience to you.
If you do not have a W-2 from that employer, delete the empty W-2 by following these steps:
Follow these directions.
- Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
- Down the left side of the screen, click on Wages & Income.
- Under Wages and Salaries, click Show more.
- Click on Edit / Add / Revisit to the right of W-2.
- At the screen Your W-2 info so far, click the Delete trashcan to the right of the W-2 to be removed.
