In early 2022 I enrolled my daughter into a private kindergarten school due to thinking she would not get into a good public school. To my surprise she was accepted into a solid public school which she had accepted. Due to this I lost the kindergarten entrance fee and enrollment fee (it wasn't reimbursed to me). Could those tuition fees apply as a donation or write off against my 2022 taxes?
Any help would be appreciated!
