I have a similar situation. My son received a 1098-T and a 1099-Q from the 529 plan we have for him. I (his mom) also received a 1099-Q because some of the distribution went to me. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do on my taxes and what to do on his taxes. Seems very complicated.
