Yes, you can clear this message by making sure nothing is entered, not even 0, and leaving the fields blank.
This is how to return to this section:
- Open you return and select State on the left side.
- Open your Michigan return and click through the first few screens.
- On the screen, Here's the income Michigan handles differently, select Start or Edit to the right of Michigan Education Trust Plans.
- Clear each field but clicking in it and hitting backspace. Leaved these fields blank and click Continue.
