Yes, you will have to file a tax return since you had self-employment income from your YouTube video.

 

F-1 visa holders are not considered residents until their 6th calendar year in the United States.  At that point, the Substantial Presence Test would need to be met to be considered a resident. Please see IRS Alien Residency Examples for additional information. 

 

You will have to file a nonresident return (Form 1040-NR). TurboTax does not support Form 1040-NR for a nonresident.  You can prepare your return through a company we partner with called Sprintax

 

To verify, the Form 1099-K and 1099-MISC is for the exact same income? If yes, then it is best to enter both Forms but then enter the amount of the Form 1099-K again as minus income under other income on Schedule 1 and state reported on Schedule C. Otherwise you would wrongly show double your income.
