I need to enter scholarship income from a NIH grant such that it shows up with "SCH" next to line 1 on IRS form 1040. However, was NOT in school. Where to input?

I need to enter scholarship income from a NIH grant such that it shows up with "SCH" next to line 1 on IRS form 1040. Some places this says to complete the Deductions and Credits > Education > 1098-T section. However, I did not receive a 1098 T and was not enrolled in school. When I try to complete this section, it won't let me complete it because I leave the school part blank. It doesn't seem to get to a place where I can enter scholarship income. alternatively, I can successfully enter it under WAges and Income > Other less common income...is that OK? thanks.
