Then - if turbotax is not phrasing it correctly - in other words if it shoudl say 'Did you get this letter or did someone who claimed you get this letter and 1400 for you" then it would be easier to answer ...So did turbotax incorreclty word it? Or Is the IRS publication correct in the Q9 pararaph? Is turbtotax msileading or does it assume that the letter might not have gone to my son but he woild know if I got the letter and his amount? Maybe some paernts dont tell their kids? It is confusing how turbotax phrases it - is tere a turbotax employee in the forum or are the experts turbtax employees/
