Can you please clarify if you are self employed and want to deduct the tuition as an expense?
As self employed you can follow the steps below to deduct your training expenses:
- Log in to your account.
- Select Federal from the left menu.
- Go to Wages and Income then select Income and Expenses.
- Go to Self-employment income and expenses and click start.
- Click review next to your line of work.
- Select Add expenses for this work
- Go to Other Miscellaneous expenses and continue.
- On the next screen click start and enter the amount and description
