Scholarships and school expenses and other expenses

Hi, I am getting more confused about scholarships and reporting by the minute! I receive a lot of scholarship money for college each year. I get a refund in my bank account and usually use it to pay rent, buy groceries, etc. I use a portion of it to also buy textbooks. How do I report this on TurboTax? I entered my 1098-T from my school when filing with TurboTax, and it includes all of the extra scholarship money that was deposited into my bank account. Is this the only place I report it -- like, will they know that I used it for non-school expenses?

Also, there is another page about school-related expenses required or not required to be purchased from the college. Since I used some of my scholarship money to purchase textbooks, should I put the money I spent on the textbooks there, even though I paid for them with the scholarships?

Thank you!!
