Went to college in 2019. Paid tuition in 2020 and received 1098T. Did not actually attend college in 2020. Am I eligible for a credit or deduction for paying the tuition?
When I put the info in and it asks if I attended less than 1/2 year I check yes and I get the credit. But on the review check it asks if I attended college in 2020, when I check no it takes it away.
