I am a college student. I only made $1050 last year for an internship but that was on 1099-NEC. Am I supposed to file (as my income is less than min) and pay tax/fee?
On top of that: TurboTax is showing I owe $148 tax and a filing fee of $60. Seems steep compared to the income.
