I am entering my daughter 1099-Q into her Federal Tax return and box 5 of the 1099-Q has STATE checked. TurboTax wants to know what state. We live in one state but she attends college in another. The place we setup the 529 plan at says they've never gotten this question before. What do I enter for the state in Turbo TAx? Can I just skip it?
