Education

The school should give you a Form 1098-T showing the amount of tuition that you paid. The 1098-T would have the school's EIN on it. But they do not have to give you the 1098-T for 2020 until February 1, 2021. If they are going to issue the 1098-T by February 1, your only option is to wait for it.

If the school does not issue Form 1098-T at all, it's probably not an "eligible educational institution," as Hal_Al described above. You can ask them whether they are an "eligible educational institution." If not, you cannot claim any education benefits on your federal tax return. In that case you do not have any options except to switch to a school that is an "eligible educational institution."
