There is no direct relationship between the student's form 1098-T tuition statement and a parent qualifying for the EIC.
The fact that a tax payer's child is a full time student will extend the age at which the student can be considered a "qualifying child" dependent for EIC. But that is entered in the dependent's personal info section. not in the education section.
