I paid my daughter's college expenses in August for the first semester and also paid in December (before the year end) for the 2nd semester. i am reading now, that may have been a mistake since the 2nd semester didn't start until the new year. However, the college had a due date of 1/10 and the 529 institution said it could take 5 to 10 working days. so, I didn't want to get hit with a late fee. Will that count as a non-qualified withdrawal? What are my options?
