Education

If you paid for past-due Tuition in 2019, you can claim an Education Expense without a 1098-T for the tuition amount you paid.

In the Education section, indicate you 'did not receive a 1098-T' and 'qualify for an exception'.

You won't qualify for the American Opportunity Credit if you were not at least half-time in 2019, but may qualify for a Lifetime Learning Credit.

If what you paid was for Student Loans, you will get a dollar-for-dollar income reduction for the amount of interest you paid up to $2,500.

Click this link for info on How to Enter Student Loan Interest. You don't have to enter a 1098-E if you know the amount of interest you paid.
