When you're on the 1098-T screen, notice right below Box 2 there's a blue notation saying "What if this is not what Arthur paid to this school." Click on that and a small window will open saying "Enter the tuition paid." This is where you'll enter the $6017 figure, and TurboTax will use that amount instead of the higher 1098-T amount in Box 2.
