Yes, you can make the changes if you didn't file your return.
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Federal Taxes.
- Go to Deductions and Credits.
- Scroll down to Education and click show more.
- Scroll down to Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T) and click revisit.
- On the following screen, "Your Education Expenses Summary" click edit next to the school name.
- On the screen "Here's Your Education Summary" select edit next to the tuition.
