Scholarship creating negative AGI on 1098-T
For context, I am a student with no income and only federal loans in 2019. On my 1098T this year specifically, I received a $3000 scholarship towards my tuition. Subsequently, when entering my 1098T information into Turbo Tax, the completed tax return lists my AGI as NEGATIVE $4,000.
Why is it a negative value? Is this the same as $0 AGI?
And, wondering why this scholarship is affecting my AGI and why it is negative $4000 not $3000?
Although not tax related, will this affect my eligibility towards Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program which bases my repayments on AGI?
