My problem is that I am trying to figure out what is included under "tuition and fees." I am filling out my 1098-T and I was billed a certain amount for tuition (Box 2) which does not include what I actually had to pay. This box only included my tuition, but I also had to pay other mandatory fees: student activity fee, student activity center fee, athletic fee, card fee, mandatory student health fee, institutional fee, online course fee, parking fee, and technology fee. Which of these (if not all) should be included under the tuition and fees I was actually required to pay? Do any of these go under the section for required books and materials (such as the online course fee)?
