Hi Lina,

It's nice to know that the deadline is about 2 years out, however the question was regarding when Turbotax 2018 will be updated.  Upon visiting the website referenced in your screenshot www.irs.gov/Form8917 you can see that the latest form says it should be used for 2018 - both on the form and in the instructions.  The IRS will not release a 2018-only version for the reasons stated on page 2. 

When will Turbotax 2018 be updated to use this form so we can file amendments?
