Education

To be able to claim any Educational Benefits on your return the school that your daughter attended must be an Eligible Educational Institution.

Per IRS What is an Eligible Educational Institution? an eligible educational

institution is a school offering higher education beyond high school. It is any college, university, trade school, or other post-secondary educational institution eligible to participate in a student aid program run by the U.S. Department of Education. This includes most accredited public, nonprofit and privately-owned–for-profit post-secondary institutions.

If you aren’t sure if your school is an eligible educational institution:

If your daughter's school in an eligible educational institution your daughter should receive a Form 1098-T. If she did not receive the form you need to ask the school for a copy of the form. You will not be able to receive any tax benefits without the tax form.
