Filing as a dependent on Turbo Tax with 1098 T form?

Hi I am filing as a dependent on turbo tax as a student but it is telling me I need to put in the "Filers Federal ID" for the 1098t form but since I am a dependent my parent is filing the paper for me. Do I still need to put in this information even though my parent is filing or will it mess up her filing this form? Thanks

If you are a dependent the 1098T goes on your parents' return, not yours.

then why is it showing up on my form even tho it says dependent
