You must submit the 1099Q or you will get a letter from the IRS stating you owe taxes and penalty. I accidentally forget it in 2015 and I am now submitting an amended tax return to avoid paying the taxes and penalty. I am having issues with this now for 2017 taxes. I am going to delete the 1098T and 1099Q and enter them again. If that does not work, I will call for assistance.
