You do not need to make a makeshift 1099-MISC related to this income (1098 forms usually relate to deduction items such as home mortgage interest).
Just include the income as "other reportable income" under the 1099-MISC section (One of the choices will be "This was money from a lawsuit settlement" - See Screenshot)

Online sign-in, click Here and click
on "Take me to my return") type "1099misc"
in the search bar then select "jump to
1099misc". TurboTax will guide you in entering this information.
