You will enter them in the Schedule C expenses section, if the trash collection fees (i.e., utilities) and other services are in fact expenses directly related to your self-employment.  If instead these fees are purely personal, then they generally aren't tax deductible.

To find the self-employment (Schedule C) expenses section in TurboTax, just begin the self-employment interview.  You should then be asked about your income from your self-employment (Form 1099-MISC or otherwise in cash) activity.

Next, you should be presented with some questions about your expenses.  Here is where you would input those out-of-pocket costs (disposal / trash fees, and other services you may have paid for in running your businesses, for example).

Those (business) expenses will then appear on Form 1040, Schedule C (for self-employment) and thereby impact the rest of your tax return.  In the hope that a picture image will be illustrative, please see the Schedule C pictures attached to this answer for a basic illustration of how this would actually look on your finalized tax return.

If this explanation does not make sense to you, or if you would like further assistance (and it is available for free for our TurboTax Online Self-Employment customers), please simply visit the following "Contact Us" link, have your tax return open on your computer, and also have a telephone ready.  We can screen-share with you and show you how to enter what you need to.

We look forward to hearing from you, if you haven't already resolved the issue(s) yourself.
