Here is how to get back to the area in TurboTax where you can change your answer to whether you've completed four years of undergraduate education:
Please follow
these steps:
- Sign in to your
TurboTax account
- Click on Take me to my
return (orange button)
- Click on Federal Taxes tab
- Click on Deductions & Credits
- Scroll down to Education and click Revisit next to Expenses
and Scholarships (Form 1098-T)
- Click Edit next to your name on Your Education Expenses Summary
- Click Edit to right of your 1098-T
- On Type in the info from your 1098-T screen ensure box 9 is checked in TurboTax if
checked on your Form 1098-T
- When brought to Here's Your Education Summary screen click Edit to right of Education Information.
- On Had You Earned Four Years of College Credit
Before 2016? screen ensure radio
button is clicked to left of Yes.
