Be sure to enter the education expenses in the "education" section using your 1098-T.
Click Federal, Deductions & Credits, scroll down to "Education"
It cannot be deducted as a job expense since those deductions have been eliminated for the federal return this year.
You must have a tax liability to apply the credit to on your return.
