Thank for the info. I do have another question. Is it common for the scholarship amount to be higher than the tuition? This is my daughter's third year and this is the first time this has happened. Also I can claim her as a dependent but should I on my tax return? Would this be better for my daughter on her tax return? Even though I know she still needs to say someone else is claiming her.
