Your adjoining lot PIN is your Property Index Number which is found on your county tax bill or assessment bill. Review your bill to see if a  PIN is listed. 

 

Another option is to delete the State and add the State again to see if you will get rid of this issue. Before adding the State, clear your cache using the link below:

 

How to Delete State

Here's how to Delete and Start over:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return, if you haven't already.
  2. Select Tax Tools from the left menu, then delete the State.
  3. Answer Yes to confirm.

How to Clear Cache:

To Add Illinois:

 

  1. Log into Turbo Tax
  2. Select the state taxes tab in the left pane of your screen.
  3. As you scroll through your screen, you should see a page that says Take a Look at Illinois credit and taxes.
  4. Look down in your list of taxes and locate Property Tax Credit and select start
  5. Answer all the questions yes regarding your principal residence.
  6. Next enter the county, and the Property Index Number(PIN)
  7. The next page will enter taxes paid and you should receive your credit.
  8. This will also include Schedule ICR in your list of Illinois forms.
