It's fine. The 1065X IS the amended 1065 return that you're going to be dealing with.
Once you amend the federal return then the system will automatically amend the state as well and walk you through the changes. It will efile what can be efiled and tell you to print whatever needs to be printed. Mailing instructions will be included in anything that can't be efiled.
Since all you are doing is adding a little income to the return this will all be pretty easy for you and you should be good to go when you get to the end.
