Using TT this year to do 1099's instead of hand writing them and it asks for business name and the dba name. We have the legal business name that is registered and a dba name that we switched to for most uses. TT is not listing the owners name, then name of the business on the 1096. Instead it is using the business name and the dba name only. Since my husband is a Sole Proprietor LLC we use a Schedule C to file the business taxes. I thought that is why the 1096 also had to have his personal name as the main name followed by the legal business name. There is no option with TT to list the Filer name, business name and the dba name. How do I get my husband's name on the 1096 in TT?
