Congratulations on your new business. It seems you have started your own business. You have not said whether you are LLC or Sole Proprietor. I assume you are Schedule C. If you are a Schedule C business you will need to use TurboTax Self Employed Software which TurboTax will automatically upgrade if you answer all of the preliminary questions accurately.
How to fill out schedule C
- Open or continue with your return.
- In the Search box type schedule c.
- Click the “Jump to schedule c” link in.
- Answer Yes to Did you have any self-employment income or expenses?
- Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your Schedule C information
