There is no class action lawsuit. There is an agreement between Intuit and the attorneys general of the states.
You cannot request or sign up to be included in the agreement. Under the agreement a payment will be sent to "Covered Consumers." You will be automatically notified if you are a Covered Consumer. You do not have to do anything to be included. Merely having paid to use TurboTax does not make you a Covered Consumer. You have to meet a very specific set of conditions to be a Covered Consumer. You can see the definition of a Covered Consumer in some of the earlier posts in this thread. Most TurboTax users are not Covered Consumers.
