Actually, nothing has changed. But you may have changed the version of TTX that you use.
When using the online version of the program, you have to use the self-employed version in order to report SCH C income *and* expenses.
If you use the CD version that you install on your computer, then you can use any flavor you want from Deluxe on up, to report SCH C income and expenses.
