If you have verified that you do not qualify for the Child Tax Credit or the Other Dependent Credit then please follow these steps:
- In the left menu, select "Tax Tools" and then "Tools".
- In the pop-up window Tool Center, select "Delete a form".
- Select "Delete" next to Form 8812 in the list and follow the instructions
