I do surveys as income and this is my first time making enough that I have to file as self-employed. I don't think I will get sent a 1099 or anything else from the sites. How do I even file this? I've done it with a W-2 from when I was working at different places but I don't even understand how filing self-employed works. I don't make much (hopefully enough to pay taxes at least) so getting my taxes done is not an option, I have to do it myself. If anyone else earns the same way or just general advice on how to do it would be greatly appreciated.
