I need to amend our 1065 tax return. I filed for an extension and finally efiled our 1065X on September 15, 2021. I haven't filed our personal tax returns yet. We filed for an extension for our personal tax returns and they are due by October 15, 2021. My question is: should I amend our 1065 tax return and use the correct Sch K-1's to file our personal tax returns OR do I have to wait until the 1065X is processed and amend our personal tax returns? Is there an allotted time for business tax returns to be processed?
