It's a hybrid Trust. I didn't even know such animal existed.
The part of the Trust allowing my mom to live in her home free for life is considered a Grantor Trust.
The rest of the Trust was not. I'm forced, as the Trustee and sole Beneficiary, to clean the Trust each year of any income, which CANNOT be used for the benefit of the Grantor.
