Thank you for responding @ColeenD3 . So to clarify - are you saying for the W9, I use my name on line 1, my business name on line 2, and the LLC EIN? And this is despite the IRS instructions that say not to do this? I just keep seeing people saying something about "backup withholding" if it is done this way. However, it makes more sense to me to do it this way, because then it matches the EIN on my schedule C.
